Our story
Founded by expert horologist Matt Smith, Precision Horology Centre was established to provide specialist watch repairs and servicing with uncompromising attention to detail. With over 30 years of experience in the horology industry, Matt has dedicated his career to the repair, servicing and restoration of luxury timepieces, developing extensive knowledge of both modern and vintage mechanical watches.
Working from our fully equipped workshop in Greater Manchester, Matt leads a small team of experienced watchmakers and technicians who share the same commitment to quality, precision and exceptional customer service. While we're proud to support clients across the North West, our secure nationwide postal service allows customers from across the UK to benefit from the same trusted expertise.
Throughout his career, Matt has worked with many of the world's most prestigious watch brands, including Panerai, Rolex, Omega, Breitling, Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Patek Philippe. Today, Precision Horology Centre continues to build its reputation on honest advice, transparent quotations and exceptional workmanship, providing every customer with complete confidence from enquiry through to collection or return.
Our workshop
Every watch that enters our workshop is treated with the care and attention it deserves. Before any work begins, each timepiece is carefully inspected and assessed to determine its condition, allowing us to recommend only the work that's genuinely required.
